I love exploring the world around me, often through the eyes of my young daughter - she's a natural scientist. I especially enjoy light - creating it, manipulating it and exploring the interaction between light and materials that can be used to create something new.
While I have taken a break from full time work while my daughter was young, I am excited about the opportunity to return to helping undergraduates explore and learn about Physics in their worlds. I hope to inspire the same sort of exploration and wonder in them that I see in the small children around me.
While I have not updated it much since my daughter was small, when I have time, I post to a blog on the Physics of teaching and everyday life: Laser Mom at Wordpress.
